Shower Time

On Friday, 13 of my closest friends hosted the most beautiful baby shower ever. It was a wonderful evening complete with great food, friends, and festivities. We even played a shower game...name the baby animal (and it was fun!! way to go Ang). It was such a huge blessing to be surrounded by such amazing women. The room was filled with much wisdom and encouragement. As I told them all, there is no greater gift than their friendship and support. Ben and I were also extremely blessed with tons of stuff for our little buddy: precious clothes, blankets, a high chair, a really cool play mat, a diaper bag, toys, an ergobaby sling, stuffed animals, and even several pieces of original artwork. I tell you what, my friends are really the coolest people ever. Thank you everyone for your continuous love and support, there is no way we could do this without each of you. Our little guy truly is blessed to be born into such an amazing community of people. Enjoy some pics from the evening.

30 Weeks!!
Raenette (who is also expecting, yeah!!!) and Melanie (the most creative woman I know)

Look at that precious onsie....so appropriate.

This is my diaper bag by J. Cole. I LOVE it. Mom found it for me in Wyoming. It has great organization and is so pretty and hip.

Look at this amazing painting by my friend Esther. She hand painted this for our little buddies room. She is so talented. She is in the background of the picture smiling.

Linda (my mom away from mom) and the best mom in the world.

Little buddy was covered in prayer!!

This was so special. The gals all wrote words of encouragement in this little book. So special. I read it today and it made me cry. Can't wait to read it to the little guy.

okay, these are the coolest take home gifts ever. These were cupcakes made by my friend Melanie. And yes she handmade those pacifiers on top with fondant (homemade fondant). So delicious and absolutely beautiful.

Here is what the box said.

Angela, Elli, myself.

Sweet Michele and myself hanging out by the cake table. Yummy Yummy!

Jen and Elli....don't you just love Elli's face and that ridiculously large flower on her head. If only I was having a girl.

Jen and I. Isn't she just beautiful.

I think I made this face the whole night.

Ben came at the end to pack up all the stuff.

My good friend Courtney. Courtney just had her second baby in April and is already plotting for her third. She is a baby lover. Doesn't she look great!!

Some of the amazing hostesses.

Here are half of the hostesses with their hostess gifts on...aprons with their monogram initials. Thanks gals for a great evening.
