Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Well, I headed to the cool weather of Wyoming last Thursday for a visit with my mom. I have never been to this part of the country, so I was pretty excited. I began my visit in Casper, WY where my mom lives. Nice little town, nothing too extremely special but it was good to see where mom lives and works. We went out with some of her coworkers on Thursday afternoon, she works with some really super people. Then had a nice meal at home with her roomates. Also, very fun.
On Friday morning we headed out on our way to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. What a beautiful trip. I can't begin to tell you how wonderfully creative God is. I mean seriously, he really has a gift. This part of Wyoming is just gorgeous. We got to Jackson Hole and stayed a really cute B&B. We shopped a bit and bought a few things for little buddy...its amazing how your shopping habits change with the little ones coming. Then we had dinner at a lovely little restaurant called the Blue Lion where we were seranaded by a classical guitar player which was amazing!! Here's some pics.

Mom and me atop the Jackson Tavern.
Our hotel the Inn on the Creek. Touted as the most romantic hotel in Jackson Hole. And it was...especially for a pregnant gal and her mom. We had a jacuzzi tub sitting in front of a fire place in our room. Needless to say, that wasn't really used. Although, mom did say, "well you could wear your bathing suit and soak in the Jacuzzi if you want." We were served homeade chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon and then a beautiful breakfast the next morning. So fun!
View from behind our hotel. This is the creek that the inn is on.
Our dinner on Friday night...delicious!! Potato crusted hailbut!
