We Passed Our Classes!

We finally finished up our series of childbirth classes this week. Tuesday we successfully passed our breastfeeding class. That means we are ready to have a kid right!! Well we are 6 weeks out and everyday the reality of having an infant becomes more apparent. G-d is definitely preparing me for the sleepless nights at this point...since I wake up every hour or two to pee or hoist myself into another position. And when I say hoist, that is what it feels like to move the little guy around at night. He is certainly making himself comfortable in my belly. He prefers to sit with his butt under my ribs and occasionally pushes up just to make sure I know he is there. I am sure it is just his way of showing affection at this point. Here's some pics from our class the other night...yes we were the only people who brought a camera to the birthing class (but hey you never know where you might find good blog material.)

Ben looks like a pro right. So happy holding that plastic baby.

Looking so excited to be taking this class...Ben did tell me that if my baby came out looking like this, I would "have a lot o' splanin' to do".

We passed!!

Ben can officially breastfeed now...oh wait, that would be awkward.

No family freckles for that kid! At least the sleepless nights in a few weeks can be shared with Ben. I wish I were there to see you and the baby bump--or the hill.
Love you.

I became so delirious at one point after Natalie was born that I told Matt he needed to nurse her, and I meant it! God uses our little ones to improve us, but it's a rocky road at times.
