Best Gift Ever

So this is one of the best gifts I have ever received (at least material gifts). I had been eyeing a Keurig for almost 2 years after experiencing the majesty of Ben's uncle's one Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, they were a little pricey for the grad student budget, so I just continued to look from afar. Well, this Christmas my mom surprised me with my very own Keurig single cup brewer and let me just tell you it is AWESOME. It takes all of about 35 seconds to a have a piping hot cup of coffee and it is so easy and clean. There is no messy measuring the coffee, emptying the filter, filling up the water, etc. And you get a consistently wonderful cup of coffee every time. You see when I used to brew a pot of coffee at my house it was  always too strong or too weak, never just right (which is sort of strange seeing as how I work at a coffee shop). And since I don't like a lot of clutter on the counter I never kept the coffee pot out, so I would have to pull it out everytime I wanted a cup of coffee.  This is also a nice gift for Ben since I can have my cup of coffee without the whole house smelling like coffee...which is one of Ben's pet peeves. This is by far one of the best gifts I have received and it just keeps on giving. If you drink a lot of coffee this may not be the best purchase though, because each K-cup is like .40 a piece. For me, it is perfect since I only drink one cup a day. So thanks Mom!! I love it! 

All the wonderful types of coffee, tea and hot cocoa you can have. Now I am addicted to collecting more.
