Because it consumes me
Because it distracts me from spending quality time with my children
Because it has become a thoughtless addiction
Because it takes up time I could use to read scripture
Because it takes up precious time that could be spent in prayer
Because it creates a false sense of community
Because it makes for dangerous driving
Because it makes me concerned about what people think
Because it wastes so much time in my day
Because my husband hates my habit
Because my children deserve my attention
Because my husband deserves my attention
Because God deserves my attention
Because it's about being present in the moment, with the people right in front of me
Because God is pushing me this lenten season...
I am fasting from social media.
I'll let you know how it goes...but not on facebook or twitter!
