Spring Break and 17 weeks

We have been on Spring Break this week. It has been awesome. We spent the first half of it in Spring Branch with our friends the Taylors. We had an opportunity to hang out with several other friends during our stay there. We even got to visit the New Riverside Building (our church back home finally got a permanent spot). Eli loved hanging out with the big boys, Camron and Brandon. It was just like old times :).

 Of course, we took our super nice camera and didn't take one single picture. We must get better about this, especially before #2 arrives. It's amazing how many pictures we have of Eli from birth till about 1 year--then we got lazy or something. I am making a vow to remedy this now.

We also signed the contract on our house with our friends the Page's who will be purchasing it. While it is hard to sell our first home, a home we loved so so much--it is so good knowing that it will be loved equally by such an amazing family. We feel truly blessed. If all goes well, we will close on April 20. Then it is time for us to start finding or building a house here in Waco. Oh the joys of house hunting.

For the last few days we have hung around the house and enjoyed being together as a family. We traveled to a great playground and had a picnic lunch (okay it was catered by Arby's...but it was outside at least). Today we went to the zoo with one of Eli's friends, Caroline, and her mommy, granny, and baby sister Lauren. Fortunately, we got there early and beat the crowd...but we were ready to leave by 12:30 when the whole town showed up. Needless to say it has been a restful and enjoyable spring break and I am not ready to go back to work. But alas, the halls of the green and gold beckon.

The good news is that in two weeks we will find out the gender of Baby B #2! Can't wait till April 2. Stay tuned for more details. Till then....how about a little comparison
