He's been out as long as he was in.

So Elisha turned the big nine months this weekend!! That means he has been out of my belly as long as he was inside...well at least I think so. That whole really being pregnant 10 months, minus delivering 5 weeks early kind of threw my math off...but we will just go with it. We had our 9 month checkup this morning and the little guy is doing great!! He did have to get the last bit of his hepatitis vaccine and they drew 2 viles of blood and again he did GREAT! He is such a trooper. Of course now he is fast asleep in his crib...that is the beauty of shots, they make you really sleepy.

Because I feel like my arm is going to fall off when I hold Elisha for long periods of time and people are constantly telling me what a big boy he is, I assumed the doctor would tell me that he was off the charts big. That somehow he had shot up out of the 25 percentile range into the 90th, but to no avail. He is still on the smaller side, which means I need to start working out more cause he's got a lot of growing to do still.

It is amazing how my love of this little guy can grow each and every day. He is such a joyful spirit. So full of life and so happy. I find myself smiling much more than I used to. How could I not when I am looking at my beautiful boy with his open mouth smile and big blue eyes. Its just hard not to be happy when you are around him...see what I mean...

I wasn't a very happy camper tonight...did mom mention I got a shot and had two viles of blood drawn. It was a big day and I was tired. So dad knew just the trick to keep me from being fussy.
